1Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms of Service (the "Terms") is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Kodebody (the "Company") and the users (the "User") regarding the use of the AI Body Composition Analysis Service (the "Service") provided by the Company.
2Article 2 (Definitions)
"Service" refers to all services provided by the Company, including AI-based body analysis, history tracking, and community features, regardless of the device used (mobile, tablet, etc.).
"User" refers to any individual who accesses the Service and enters into a service use agreement with the Company in accordance with these Terms.
"Subscription" refers to a paid membership (Pro) purchased to access premium features of the Service.
"Content" refers to text, photos, and other data uploaded by the User to the Service.
3Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification)
These Terms become effective upon being posted on the Service screen or notified to Users by other means.
The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of applicable laws.
If the Terms are modified, the Company shall announce the effective date and reasons for the modification at least 7 days prior to the effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes agreement to the amended Terms.
4Article 4 (Provision of Service)
The Company provides the following services:
AI-based body composition analysis (Fat/Muscle estimation)
Body history tracking and visualization
Subscription-based premium analysis features
The Service is principally provided 24 hours a day, year-round. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance, inspection, or unavoidable causes.
5Article 5 (User Obligations)
Users shall NOT engage in the following acts:
Registering false information or using another person's information.
Uploading pornographic, nude (genitalia exposed), or illegal content.
Copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering the Company's technology/software.
Interfering with the stable operation of the Service.
Users agree to comply with these Terms and related laws and regulations.
6Article 6 (Subscription and Payment)
Subscriptions are managed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Stores").
Payment is charged to the User's Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the respective Stores. The Company does not directly process refunds.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
7Article 7 (Pro Features & Trial)
The Company may provide a free trial period for the Pro Subscription.
If the User does not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription fee will be automatically charged.
Pro features may include detailed segmental analysis, unlimited history storage, and trend charts.
8Article 8 (License to User Content)
The User retains ownership of all photos uploaded.
By uploading photos, the User grants the Company a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze the photos solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
The Company may use anonymized, aggregated data for the purpose of improving AI accuracy.
9Article 9 (Disclaimer of Liability)
The Company is exempt from liability if the Service cannot be provided due to natural disasters or force majeure.
The Company is not liable for service usage obstacles caused by the User's fault.
AI Accuracy Warning: The analysis results are computer-generated estimates. Actual medical results (DEXA, MRI) may differ significantly. The Company is not liable for any damages arising from reliance on these estimates.
10Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)
Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Company's jurisdiction (e.g., Delaware/Korea).
Users should contact Customer Support to resolve issues before initiating legal action.
